OVERVIEW

Hendall is seeking a Medical Records Supervisor who will supervise routine medical record-keeping operations and healthcare information management to ensure secure, accurate, and reliable patient information management that complies with data and privacy regulations. Please note this is a full-time, remote position.

This position will support Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) which serves the public as a trusted partner and steward, dedicated to advancing health equity, expanding coverage, and improving health outcomes.

The Medical Records Supervisor shall possess a combination of experience and qualifications meeting the following criteria:

  • Establish policies and procedures to ensure effective and compliant record management
  • Implement digital technologies and tools to gain efficiencies, facilitate record retrieval, and ensure secure storage
  • Provide training for medical records staff and information resources to end-users
  • Coordinate with clinical and technical professionals to maintain robust records management systems and managing data for analysis and reporting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree and 3 to 4 years of relevant supervisory experience
  • A minimum of 3 years general related experience, which includes experience with medical records and the electronic transmission of medical records
  • Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
